The regional champions of the 2024 Racing Post/SIS Betting Shop Manager of the Year competition have been revealed.

The top candidates from eight regions spanning Britain and Ireland were chosen following the most recent stage of judging which included an interview to camera.

The final 24 enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of racing  at the renowned Haydock Park Racecourse last week, a fitting way to mark each candidate’s brilliant achievement and commitment to the retail industry.

Following an extensive deliberation period between the judges, we are pleased to confirm that the competition’s regional champions are:

Sian Brown (Ladbrokes)

Greater London

Shelley Enever (Jenningsbet)

Georgina Moloney (BoyleSports)

Midlands and Wales

Ethan Aitkenhead (Coral)

Annette Garner (Betfred)

North-west and Isle of Man

Jeanette Cross (Ladbrokes)

Each regional champion, accompanied by a crucial member of their shop personnel, will now participate in the final judging event in London. This includes a Q&A session with the judges held on the day prior to the final.

The awards ceremony will be hosted during a lunch on Monday 11th November, where the victor will be crowned Betting Shop Manager of the Year for 2024.

As a prize, the winner and their shop team will be guests of SIS at Ascot Racecourse in December, as well as a high-profile international racing fixture and other industry events.

The best of luck to all eight competing finalists!
