One of the key facts to emerge from the explosion in online betting’s popularity is the increase in turnover when pictures are available. People are more likely to bet during a sporting event if they’re watching the action unfold – and even more so if relevant, changing odds are offered alongside them. Just over 25 years ago, SIS launched its business, offering live pictures into retail outlets and sparked a revolution in High Street betting. Now SIS is working to help increase bookmakers’ revenue capabilities online by providing live, seven-days-a-week streaming feeds which they can use for websites or mobile devices. The digital package already includes more than 6,500 live events from greyhounds and horse racing. These range from the dog racing shown on Racing Post Greyhound TV and top Irish racing from Shelbourne Park and to horse racing from as far as Latin America, Dubai and recently added Germany.
