SIS has continued its International expansion with shops in Greece and Russia now showing its SIS2 channel. The rollout is part of SIS agreement with leading international operator INTRALOT, which localises, distributes and operates the service on behalf of its customers in both countries.
SIS2 was developed last summer for the retail market outside the UK and Ireland and features continuous betting opportunities throughout the day, focusing largely on greyhound racing and virtual events. Earlier this year, the number of virtual events was increased with the aim to ensure a race every five minutes from the six virtual racetracks shown on SIS2.
INTRALOT, which is listed on the Athens stock exchange, is a multi-national company and one of the world’s leading suppliers of integrated gaming and transaction processing systems, innovative game content, sports betting management and interactive gaming and a major provider of lottery services.
George Irvine, Managing Director, SIS Betting, said: “Our relationship with INTRALOT has opened up new markets for SIS and allowed us to develop new services tailored specifically for the overseas market. It’s exciting to be moving into new territories and we’re delighted to be working so closely with such a prestigious partner as INTRALOT.”
