Senior Developer Development London

As a Senior Developer you will develop products to grow and expand the SIS racing business, specifically software relating to betting display systems and the SIS data feeds editor. You will be responsible for applying design, coding standards, change and version control, documentation and testing standards as appropriate. This role requires significant experience and expertise in .Net technologies and the successful applicant must have:
  • Extensive C#/.Net experience
  • Interface Development, UI design, Web Development
  • Unit testing, integration testing, TDD, DDD
  • XML, XSLT
  • Multi-threading experience
  • Knowledge and experience of development processes and lifecycles including agile
  • Oracle or SQL Server

Experience in the following would be an advantage:

  • Experience of betting systems or betting markets (or similar systems)
  • .Net 3.5 (WCF and WPF)
  • nHibernate or other ORMs
  • DOM, SAX, XML-Schema, RelaxNG
  • Maven
  • Spring .Net
  • Oracle or SQL Server

The successful candidate will be a strong team player who works well with others and enjoys learning new technologies and sharing knowledge. Strong communication, organisation and scheduling skills are required to work on multiple projects to tight deadlines. The role is based in London but will involve some travel to Milton Keynes.

Resource Co-ordinator Resource Management Milton Keynes

Based in Milton Keynes, you will be responsible for scheduling over 100 broadcast vehicles and staff within the UK & Europe in an efficient and cost effective manner to fulfil the requirements for major broadcasters supporting the television industry. You will be working in a very busy and fluid environment. You must be organised and adopt a methodical approach with lots of initiative. This is a crucial position within a small team and some experience of scheduling would be an advantage, along with strong communication skills. You will be working shifts many of which are unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.

Technical Operator Programming Milton Keynes

SIS requires a Technical Operator for our busy Production Department. You will be a good communicator, able to work in all broadcast technical areas and be prepared for a busy working environment. This is the perfect job for somebody who has or wants good all round TV production experience at a technical level, needs to get in amongst the action and enjoys a challenge. EVS, Digibeta, Kayak, Aston, Pixel Power, Soundcraft, Amek are names you should be familiar with, as well as having a good understanding of line-up procedures and a passion for detail and accuracy.

Vision Mixer Programming Milton Keynes

We are looking for an experienced & dynamic Vision Mixer for our Milton Keynes site. You should have proven experience of Vision Mixing in busy live multi-feed galleries together with operational knowledge of GVG vision mixing desks.

During a typical shift you will also be operating EVS, a sound desk and graphics so previous experience would be an advantage although not essential.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be a strong communicator. An interest in sports is a bonus.

Help Desk Co-ordinator Resource Management Milton Keynes

Working within a small but busy call centre, you will receive inbound service calls directly from customers and will be conducting remote diagnostics wherever possible. The ideal candidate will have previous call centre experience and excellent customer service skills. Support Technician Service Delivery Milton Keynes

We are currently recruiting for support technicians for the Milton Keynes Service Delivery team. As a support technician you will be responsible for first line support, taking customer calls regarding the company's services and handling them according to implemented processes. This will include work to resolve faults and answering queries and escalating them if required. Working at all levels throughout the business this role requires strong customer service and communication skills. Mobile Satellite Communications Engineer SIS Live Osterley

We are looking for a dedicated engineer to be involved in the deployment and operation of our mobile satellite uplink trucks covering live broadcast events.  Working autonomously, you will need to respond quickly and confidently to whatever comes along, including repairs to video, audio, communications and RF systems, plus mechanical failures of satellite dishes, generators.  You will have experience in ground station and/or mobile satellite units, strong customer service skills and knowledge of broadcast engineering. You must be able to cope under pressure and be prepared to work unsociable hours, sometimes at short notice.

You will be expected to work overseas, including areas of conflict.  You will also need a Class C1 driving license and you will spend a significant amount of time driving the mobile satellite trucks around France and beyond.  

It is essential applicants for this position live within a 45 minute commute from the Paris base.

Purchasing Executive Engineering Langley

The primary objective of this role is to provide significant cost and efficiency savings across all program strands and projects for SIS LIVE. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager and all primary internal stakeholders, to manage high-value supplier and customer relationships held by SIS LIVE. Particular emphasis will be placed upon ensuring best value regarding hire agreements for individual equipment items, systems and services, together with equipment provision for large scale national and international projects.

The ideal candidate will have well developed and proven negotiating skills, ideally in the OB/Broadcast Industry, with a practical working knowledge of materials planning, purchasing and storage. The ability to follow and inspire others to follow a strategy and vision would be advantageous. You will have well developed commercial and financial skills with the ability to analyse and interpret management information. Excellent prioritisation skills are essential as is the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of personalities. Well-developed verbal communications and negotiating skills are a must together with the ability to identify and adapt to the audience and information.

The role is hands-on and you will be expected to be part of cross-functional sourcing teams to execute category specific projects that generate step changes in cost.

Camera Operator SIS Live Milton Keynes

As a Camera Operator you would need to:


- Operate to the required standards the camera and ENG kit, their associated equipment and vehicles.
- Ad hoc work and tasks as allocated by the scheduling department and management, which may be outside of the remit of camera operations.
- To maintain and look after the husbandry of the ENG kit, its associated equipment and vehicle, to the required standard.
- To record and report all operations, equipment performance and maintenance tasks as requested.
- To assist in maintaining and looking after the housekeeping of the appropriate remote base.
- To assist in staging of equipment trials and customer demonstrations, if needed.
- To conduct surveys of proposed transmission sites from the camera operations point of view and to report on their suitability according to a prescribed standard.
