CUSTOMER FOCUS Richard Noble is one of the few independent bookmakers still going strong after 50 years – and still getting a buzz out of the business.  On Tuesday, the 67-year-old will open the doors to a splendid new shop in the Don Noble chain, near Skegness, Lincolnshire. The new LBO – a relocation of just 60 yards down the road – is the result of his sharply-trained eye spotting the increased retail potential of a bigger, empty shop next to the area’s only mini-supermarket. “The original shop was ticking along very nicely but I realised the Spa shop beside the big, empty one was attracting a phenomenal footfall, so I just had to move,” he said.  Nor was it a straightforward premises swap; Noble has ditched the old furniture and installed new, state-of-the art equipment, modern screens, sleek tables,  comfortable chairs and  a deep red colour scheme.
