The land-based betting industry in the UK and Ireland are supported by various trade associations.

The ABB represents the interests of operators of over 7,000 betting shops in Great Britain. Its members range from single shop operators through to the national chains.

The Irish Bookmakers' Association (IBA) represents over 700 of the 1,200 betting shops in Ireland. Its council meets approximately four times a year and regular updates are sent to members directly.
